Definition: Aggregate is a collection of items that are gathered together to form a total quantity.

The fleeting moments of knowledge in which we discover our existence are facts that can be committed to memory. We can enlarge this aggregate memory and refashion it as we go through a lifetime. By saving these memories on paper and reconstructing the images of our lives. We see the art of our lives unfolding before us.

Face the brilliance of your most wonderful creations and dwell on your dreams.
I believe in teaching, the sharing of ideas and playfulness of creating.

Prima Gift Record....

Happy Saturday to you-!

I created a small Gift Record book for a wedding shower. Or it could be used as a guest book as well.
This was so much fun to put together.
The embellishments just kept coming and coming and well you get the point.

I used the Songbird Collection Journaling tags and some plain index cards for the inside pages.
On the Songbird cards I took white acrylic paint to the edges to soften the look. Then on the index cards I used Prima's Quick dry fluid inks in Old Rose and  Shabby Tote. The Old Rose alone was too much pink so I toned it down with Shabby Tote. As you can see I kept adding more and more Prima Flowers and Layered them.
Why is it so much fun to play with Prima's Products???

Thanks Again for stopping by and viewing my creations. Please don't hesitate to leave a comment. Love to hear your thoughts.

Month In Review....

Hi Crafties....
I had to share my version of this scrap lifted layout from Silhouette's blog. Click the link to see their version and tutorial. (they have great tutorials, if you want to see what the machine can DO.)
It is all done on the Silhouette with their Sketch Pens and Instagram app. photos.
I just happen to be a fan of both.

I created my as {Month in Review} instead of {Year in Review}.
I like doing the Month because you can look at one page and get the feel of the whole month at a glance rather than flip through several layouts. Kind of a "Cliff Notes" to your life. :D
I will be doing many more of these.

I love my Silhouette....
I do not endorse anything that I do not use myself.

It cuts, inks and has a print and cut feature. I also can upload my own art and cut it out-!!!
Thanks FotoBella.com-!

Stampotique Designers Challenge SDC57:

Birthday Box Pop Out

I love playing along with Stampotique Designers Challenges.
They are so creative and off the top.
Not so much fluff and stuff.

This challenge is Outside the Box....
I created a Birthday Box Pop Out using Ranger Distress Stains and Manila Tags.
I see that I need to order some more stamps from them....
I keep using the same stamps-!

Tip:  How you get the splat look is get the stain top nice and juicy on your craft mat, then spat it onto you card. (It is a fun way to release any sort of frustration kind of process.) Then use Distress Ink and a blending tool to do the edges.

Smash....? What....?

Good morning Crafties....

Over the weekend I was inspired to create this journal/book.
I guess it is like a Smash book even though I need to be honest here and say that I really don't understand the Smash thing....  So please keep that in mind.

I wanted to have a daily book that I could write down my thoughts, daily activities, images, inspirations, doodles and what not. This is the bare bones book right now. I will paint and collage, tape, add ephemera, etc. I added velum, maps and dictionary pages because I love the look of them.
This reminds me of when I was young and made pockets, pouches, windows and pull outs in my cards. I had the same kind of fun with this.

My Son has already doodled one page- Yeah-!
I always get little presents from him on a daily bases.
For example: leaves, flowers, mini drawings and whatever.
So I added a bunch of envelopes to be able to put these treasures in. I used some white pre-made ones and of course made some of my own with my Silhouette.

There is something rewarding about making a book.
Wow so much fun and I really just started it.
The fun will continue as I add to it.

Also- These would make a great gifts for some special girlfriends or I was thinking my artsy Mom in law would so love to do one of these.

I will be posting a tutorial on how to make your own.
Really- pretty easy.
You will need a binder of some sort.
I used We R Memory Keepers Cinch.

Craft on.....

Hello Lovelies-!
I hope you are having a great weekend.
I wanted to share with you a tag that I made with Bo Bunny's Little Miss Collection from

This collection is very Sweet and geared towards girlie girls....
This has glorious Pinks, Greens and Browns.

I will admit that I have never been the same about PINK when I came home from camp one summer and my whole room was exploding in Pink. Keep in mind I was the only girl on my block and had a lot of friends that were boys. Thanks Mom I know you tried. xoxo

Yet- I still found this vintage, girlie stuff so much fun to play with.
I was going to modern it up... But why? So I went with the frills to the gills.
Ha ha
There is more to come.

Our new addition...

Hi Everyone.....
Sorry I have not posted for a few days. We had a sweet bunny wander into our yard. We have been trying to find it's family.... Knowing that someone is surly missing him... Right?

He looks like he has had to fight a bit and was hungry. All and all he is a very sweet creature and loves little pats on the head.

I feel that he should see the vet just to make certain that he is healthy. We will be going tomorrow.

If all goes well, think I will have to give him a loving home. I will keep you posted on Stew's happenings.

Birds of Beauty.... PRIMA

 Happy Friday to you...

This is a small 4"x4" mixed media collage made with Prima products Song Bird Collection,
stamps from LONDONERRY and PIXIE GLEN
and misc. other bits and pieces.

I used the UTEE and Rangers melting pot to create a layered 3D look.
This work has about 6 layers of paper and stamping. After each layer I poured the UTEE
over the top being careful not to drip it on the sides. Painters tape was also a help to protect the
pretty robin blue painted edge.
These would look great in a grouping of three to embellish a smaller wall space.

Check it out...
Amazing list of talent.
Can't wait for the inspirations and creations.
Wishing you a playful weekend.

Stampotique Design Challenge SD56: Twin Images

I had to play again with Stampotique....
TIP:
This is a lovely trick to get a mirror image of a stamp that you want to use.
You take some left over cellophane packaging material from
some product you ordered..... Stamp the first image
onto your card stock. Then stamp the image onto the cellophane. Carefully,
lay it down on the card stock next to you other image with out moving it, rug gently to transfer you second image....
I know.... I know...
Sounds impossible. You will need to try it a few times to get the hang of it.
And then you will also need to do some touch up line work with an Indian Ink pen.
But really this is a great way to use your stamps in different and more ways.
Experiment and most important PLAY-!

Barista Boy!!!

Hello Artisans,
Happy mid week to you.

This creation was made with Prima's Nature Garden Collection "Pixie",  Song Bird Collection "Tag it" and Pixie Glen Collection.

I started with the background with watered down whit Gesso to cover the "girlie" on the bottom right corner. Loved the page just a bit to frilly for my boy. ;).
Then I used the Crafter's Workshop "Brick Stencil" and Modeling Paste. Using a palette knife to spread on the modeling paste to create some texture and interest. Them edged page with  Tim Holtz distress ink and blender tool in Walnut Stain. Spritzed areas with Tattered Angles Creme de Chocolate and Perfect Pearls Mists Biscotti. Then added elements and embellishments.
Hope this gets your creative juices going?

Prima Winner.....

Hope you don't mind if I Celebrate a bit? Yep that is right-!

Anyway- I won a Comfort Craft Tool made by PRIMA....

I am so excited to get my hands on this handy dandy tool....  More to follow... I will do a tutorial on this amazing gizmo and all it can do.

New Art Journal.....

Good Morning Crafties,

I wanted to share some doodles I have been playing with and the start on my new art journal cover.....
I am using sticky back canvas from Ranger and Pitt Pens. It will look something this the doodles in the first few images. I hope you can see the details underneath....? I used a watered down gesso then worked on top with ink and Pan Pastels... Ohhh I love the Pan Pastels.

Reason for a new journal is that I am taking another watercolor class from Jane LaFazio-!!! Yeah- it starts June 7th. My Mom was a watercolorists and this would be her birthday. SO no better time to celebrate my Mother's life and take a new class. Right? I think so.

Enjoy your Monday-
Much Love and Kindness.
